On behalf of Defra, we are looking for a Customer Engagement Administrator (Inside IR35) for a 4 month hybrid contract based in either Shrewsbury, Lichfield, Birmingham or Tewkesbury.

As a Customer Engagement Administrator, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Maintain customer focus, promoting good relationships with our customers and enhancing the environment Agency’s reputation.
- Co-ordinate and compile information from a variety of sources, carriying out routine analyses and contributing to the team’s work.
- Chase and track information to ensure the execution of own activities, for example following up customer enquiries or tracking planning consultations with local authorities.
- Consider commercial implications of work undertaken.
- Operate and maintain data and information systems effectively.
- Ensure records are stored accurately, are up to date and readily accessible to facilitate team activities.
Essential:
- Good level of literacy and numeracy required.
- Required to build relationships based on understanding customers’ needs and providing the service required.
- Required to use standard IT packages efficiently to deliver work and able to learn specialised systems as required.
- Possess some knowledge of the Environment Agency.
- Ideally, some skills in the Environmental Sector.
