On behalf of The Government Property Agency, we are looking for a Senior Compliance Manager for a 5 month contract based REMOTELY with some ad hoc travel possible.

The Government Property Agency is an Executive Agency of the cabinet office. It is changing the way the Civil Service works and is at the forefront of Government's transformation agenda; reshaping the relationship civil servants have with their place of work. The Agency is central to the delivery of key Government policies including moving 22,000 Civil Service roles out of London by 2030 and tackling climate change by contributing to the Net Zero agenda. To do this we are delivering a major change programme across the UK and consolidating our portfolio in order to save £1.4 Bn over 10 years.

As a Senior Compliance Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Manage and coordinate the assurance requirements for new properties being on boarded to workplace services with the GPA Property/Asset Management Team and Client solutions to ensure compliance requirements are in place prior to client occupation.
• Develop and manage assurance team relationships with OGDs and Landlords when new sites and clients are on boarded.
• Represent the compliance team on the workplace services audit and assurance monthly meetings reporting on regional performance.
• Manage and report on compliance risks to the workplace services delivery risk committees monthly meetings
• Act as lead for compliance with the data team to develop improved reporting processes and data quality for clients
• Lead the FM Audit and Assurance Non-conformance Register with GPA colleagues, FM Suppliers and Clients. Where required, escalate outstanding Non-conformances to the Head of Assurance to assist in resolution.

Essential:

• Demonstrable experience of working in a multi-client service organisation in a relevant field, such as compliance management.
• The ability to interpret and understand business needs of clients in order to build positive relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritising tasks effectively in order to meet deadlines (both internal and external) and communicating progress wherever necessary.
• Conversant and competent in management of clients and contractors.

Desirable:

• Ideally, hold Certified Membership of IWFM or as a minimum be working towards Certified Membership.
• Ideally, hold active SC Clearance.
