On behalf of EANI, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Inside IR35 for a 12 months contract based Hybrid with 1-3 days working from home and the rest from the office in either Belfast or Antrim
EA was established on 1 April 2015 under the Education Act (Northern Ireland) 2014. EA is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department of Education (DE) and the Department for the Economy (DfE), responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective primary and secondary education and educational services are available to meet the needs of children and young people, and for ensuring the provision of efficient and effective youth services.
As a Senior Project Manager , your main responsibilities will be to:
- Contribute to the strategic planning, implementation, and on-going monitoring of the service area
- Follow robust corporate governance procedures and financial control frameworks for effective management of the budget for the service and monitor expenditure ensuring propriety, regularity and value for money within the allocated budget
- Assisting directly in or leading on managing stakeholder relationships and engagement constructively and effectively, securing commitment, on-going input and support from all partners. Representing the EA in engagements with stakeholders as required.
- To assist or lead the provision of assurance to the relevant SRO and Project/Programme Board through the establishment and maintenance of robust project/programme governance processes and ensuring that they are adhered to throughout the project/programme life cycle (aligned with PRINCE2/MSP requirements).
Essential:
- Recent experience of working at a senior level within a complex business change project or programme.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering complex projects within agreed control parameters, using PRINCE2 principles, processes and themes to include
- Engaging a wide range of stakeholders ensuring a customer centric approach to the delivery of robust project outputs.
Desirable:
- Procurement experience
- Background in delivering educational services to schools
- Understanding of data projects
