Description & Requirements
On behalf of EANI, we are looking for a Project Support Officer - PAYE for a 6 Month contract based Hybrid - Remote & 1/2 days p/week in Belfast, Antrim, Dundonald, Armagh or Omagh as required.
EA was established on 1 April 2015 under the Education Act (Northern Ireland) 2014. EA is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department of Education (DE) and the Department for the Economy (DfE), responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective primary and secondary education and educational services are available to meet the needs of children and young people, and for ensuring the provision of efficient and effective youth services.
As a Project Support Officer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Project Coordination & Governance: Support Project Manager with documentation, scheduling, risk/issue tracking, and ensuring compliance with project frameworks and governance standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to support effective project delivery and communication.
- Tools & Process Support: Assist in the use and management of Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tools, templates, and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Track improvements, gather lessons learned, and compile reports and statistics for senior management.
- Communication & Documentation: Create and distribute project communications, document requirements, and support transition to business-as-usual (BAU).
- Administrative & Financial Support: Provide high-quality administrative support, manage project budgets and orders, and coordinate meetings and correspondence.
You'll have:
- Demonstrable Project Support experience - ability to work across multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills - internal & external.
- Technology project environment experience - desirable.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Access to a car as some travel will be required.
