On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Chartered Security Engineer (Inside IR35) for a 12 Months contract based in Andover.

As a Chartered Security Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
- To provide continuing security engineering advice to projects to the wider DIO alleviate pressures in this area. MPP has been instrumental in supporting TLB Principal Security Advisor (PSyA) offering direction and guidance to the TLB’s on infrastructure projects/programmes.
- Ad-hoc and focussed support for technical and engineering issues.
- Providing security engineering support to the 1* Delivery Teams.
- To provide mentorship to inexperienced delivery teams with the delivery of ongoing in person training sessions.
- To provide direction to in house resource ensuring that the activities completed are those that add the most value to deliver DIO’s outputs.
- To apply technical judgment in support of cost and schedule baselines and the application of security engineering risk.
Essential:
- Chartered Security Engineer.
- The Register of Security Engineers and Specialists (RSES).
- Experience of working across Central Government Department’s delivering security engineering taskings.
- DV Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
