What if you could work on something that you can’t test… but cannot afford to fail? AWE plays a crucial role in national nuclear security. Their role in nuclear deterrence and their specialist technical assistance to nuclear threat reduction is vital in the defence against the most serious threats faced by the UK. SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks

As a Transformation Delivery Lead – Project Manager  your main responsibilities will be:

• Refine the transformation strategy, ensuring alignment with the long-term vision and goals for the function.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align on the objectives and the overall business goals.
• Develop a comprehensive transformation overall program plan, outlining key objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for transformation initiatives, ensuring clear objectives, milestones, and success criteria are defined.
• Work closely with workstream leads to align on their objectives, milestones and plans.
• Identify potential risks and challenges in transformation projects and develop mitigation plans to minimise disruptions.
• Manage the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and technology, to support transformation projects.

Essential:

• Extensive experience in managing large-scale transformation projects, preferably within supply chain or commercial functions.
• Proven ability to develop and refine transformation strategies
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in managing change initiatives and ensuring successful adoption
