At Public Sector Resourcing we are looking to build our talent pools for up and coming opportunities. We are looking for a Head of Programme (PMO) for 12 Month contract based Hybrid – Remote & 40% in Aberdeen.

As Head of Programme (PMO), your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop a comprehensive plan for the setup of the ALB, jointly with the Sponsorship Team.
- Act as primary interface between the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and DESNZ on all programme matters.
- Manage PMO resources for individual work packages.
- Produce live reports and dashboards for programme progress transparency.
- Custodian of all necessary documents for the ALB setup, guiding the ELT and Board on input and approval.
- Establish process architecture using best practices for robust management of business activities and operations and advise on digital tool investments.
You’ll have:
- Demonstrable Programme / Project / PMO Management experience.
- Suitable qualifications in relevant areas e.g. PRINCE2, Six-Sigma, LEAN, APM.
- Exceptional report writing and presentational skills, highly capable communicating content in a range of media.
- Strong communication skills including to senior executives / Boards.
- An inclusive and open working style able to integrate into a forming team.
- Able to work in the pace of a start-up environment and take the lead in establishing practice, process and culture.
- Entrepreneurial and innovative in approach to embracing technology to simplify processes.
