On behalf of DESNZ, we are looking for a G7 GBE Organisation Set Up Lead for a TBC DURATION contract based in Aberdeen, Scotland

The successful candidate will support the G6 on work to set-up GBE, with a particular focus on its enabling functions of GBE. A key role will be to ensure the fundamental systems are in place for GBE to grow and deliver against its strategic objectives.
As a G7 GBE Organisation Set Up Lead, your main responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for leading and managing relationship with Integrated Corporate services (ICS) to establish GBE corporate services.
- These functions include Estates, Security & Counter Fraud, and digital systems, all aimed at supporting the effective delivery of GBE core services.
- Working with relevant leads within GBE, including Finance, PMO, Commercial and across its key functions, to ensure the necessary systems and processes are in place for GBE to function.
- Making sure the people impact is considered, with a suitable people and culture plan developed.
- Ensuring enabling functions are considered and aligned to broader transition planning.
- Support the operationalisation of transition plans, with a focus on enabling capabilities.
Person specification / Skills & Experience:
- An excellent communicator who can build relationships with a variety of multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, understanding their needs and implementing appropriate solutions accordingly.
- A detail-oriented individual capable of understanding and anticipating the systems required for the effective operation of GBE.
- People and change experience and helping to lead structural, systems, capability and process change within an organisation.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in facilities management
- Experience working in HR/operating models or transformation
