On behalf of Pension Protection Fund, we are looking for a Laptop Rollout Engineer (Outside IR35) for a 3 Months contract based in Croydon.
The Pension Protection Fund is seeking a hands-on Cloud Native Laptop Rollout Engineer to support the delivery of our Cloud Native programme and organisation-wide laptop rollout.
The successful candidate will work closely with Architecture, Service Delivery and Project teams to assist with device provisioning, deployment, user migration, pilot activities, troubleshooting and rollout support. The role is focused on practical delivery and operational readiness rather than solution architecture or strategic design.
The rollout is based on Microsoft cloud-native technologies including Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 and forms part of the wider Cloud Native programme.
As a Laptop Rollout Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Support Windows Autopilot enrolment and provisioning activities.
- Support pilot users during testing and onboarding activities.
- Conduct laptop replacement and migration activities.
- Work directly with colleagues to resolve rollout-related issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to Architecture or Service Delivery teams as required.
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience delivering Windows 11 laptop deployment or refresh programmes.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with Windows Autopilot provisioning.
- Ability to follow documented deployment processes and standards.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
