Description & Requirements

On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for 2 x HR Operations Advisors (Inside IR35) for an initial 3 month contract based hybrid (2 days a week) in Swindon.

As a HR Operations Advisor, your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of people-related matters, policies and procedures.
  • Manage and support employee relations casework, including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Coach and influence managers to ensure consistent, compliant and pragmatic people management decisions.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across HR, business areas and external service providers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance HR processes, guidance and ways of working.
  • Analyse HR data and trends to identify insights and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Contribute to HR projects, organisational change activities and learning initiatives as required.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.


Essential:


  • Relevant experience working within an operational HR environment.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience and knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence, challenge and support stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills within policy and procedural frameworks.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate within a team.



Desirable:


  • Experience using Oracle Fusion HR system.
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
