On behalf of HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS), we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based REMOTELY with occasional travel to London
HM Courts & Tribunals Service is responsible for the administration of criminal, civil and family Courts and Tribunals in England & Wales. Their roles support service users and colleagues within HMCTS, where people and businesses access potentially life-changing justice. As a Senior Project Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
- Lead and manage a defined complex project or portfolio of projects, including associated business change activities, on a day-to-day basis
- Be accountable for driving and overseeing the successful delivery of projects to ensure objectives are clearly defined and achieved within agreed time, cost, scope and quality constraints
- Play a pivotal role in shaping delivery approaches, maintaining delivery momentum, and ensuring that change is embedded effectively within the business
- Lead effective project governance, including establishing proportionate governance and assurance arrangements, managing senior stakeholder engagement, and providing clear visibility of progress, risks, issues, dependencies and benefits
- Ensure organisational readiness for change and that outcomes deliver real and measurable value.
Essential:
- Visible Leadership: Proven ability to lead by example, motivate, coach and empower teams, acting as a role model while maintaining clear accountability for delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrable experience in identifying, analysing and engaging diverse stakeholders, communicating effectively and influencing senior leaders to achieve buy-in and resolve issues.
- Commercial and Procurement Capability: Experience working with commercial teams to procure goods and services, with the ability to manage suppliers, contracts and commercial risk to achieve value for money.
- Working with Ambiguity: Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced and uncertain environments, making sound decisions and adapting plans as priorities and information change.
- Business Case Development: Proven capability to develop, maintain and use robust business cases, with a clear understanding of benefits, costs, risks and value for money across the project lifecycle
