Description & Requirements

On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Contracts Manager Inside IR35 for a 6 month contract working on a Hybrid basis (2/3 days per week in Singlewell office and remaining WFH)

The main duties and responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Manager would be:

  • Contributing and documenting commercial strategy.
  • Supporting governance
  • Working independently with business stakeholders from across the programme.
  • Day-to-day contract managementmanaging milestones, changes, supplier deliverables
  • Support Billing processes
  • Support the production and delivery of Contract Management Plans
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners to ensure that plans are on track, commercial risks are identified, and mitigations agreed.
  • Support your team to deliver contract management activities
  • Work with business colleagues and external suppliers to ensure that contracts are closely supervised


Essential:

  • Public Sector experience of tendering and contract management
  • Previous experience in Construction, Vegetation management, Bridge management, Acoustic barriers, tunnels that need repaired/refurbished.
  • NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge and experience
  • Understanding of public procurement regulations PCR2015 and PA2023
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word and Excel
  • Strong Supplier Relationship Management skills
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills


Desirable:

  • Previous Rail experience
