On behalf of The Ministry of Justice,(MOJ we are looking for a Strategic Supplier Relationship Manager (Inside IR35) for a 6 months (potential extension) contract based  in any any MOJ office nationwide with expectation to be in the office 2 days per week 

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government’s ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

We are seeking a Strategic Supplier Relationship Manager to build, lead and mature critical supplier partnerships across complex construction and government delivery environments. This is a senior, outcome-focused role responsible for ensuring our most important supplier relationships deliver long-term value, resilience and performance in line with public sector objectives.

You will operate at a strategic level, working with senior stakeholders internally and externally to align commercial, operational and delivery priorities while navigating public sector governance and assurance requirements.

As a Strategic Supplier Relationship Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead and manage strategic supplier relationships across construction and infrastructure portfolios
• Act as a senior interface between suppliers, delivery teams and government stakeholders
• Drive performance, value creation, innovation and continuous improvement
• Anticipate risks and issues, intervening early to protect outcomes
• Balance commercial drivers with public accountability and governance requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience in strategic relationship management, supplier or partnership management
• Construction sector experience or strong working knowledge of delivery environments and supply chains
• Experience working within or closely with government or public sector organisations
• Confident operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

• Public sector
