On behalf of The Home Office, we are looking for a Commercial Contracts Manager (SEO) - Inside IR35 for an 8 month contract working on a Hybrid basis (2/3 days per week in London Stratford or Bristol office and remaining WFH)

Role purpise:
To provide Commercial support across the ESMCP contract management portfolio within Commercial workstream. This workstream requires commercial support to be able to effectively deliver and manage contracts.
PLEASE NOTE:
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
The main duties and responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Manager would be:
- Contributing and documenting commercial strategy.
- Supporting governance
- Working independently with business stakeholders from across the programme.
- Day-to-day contract management – managing milestones, changes, supplier deliverables
- Support Billing processes
- Support the production and delivery of Contract Management Plans
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners to ensure that plans are on track, commercial risks are identified, and mitigations agreed.
- Support your team to deliver contract management activities
- Work with business colleagues and external suppliers to ensure that contracts are closely supervised
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience in end to end contract management, including oversight of contract milestones, supplier deliverables, contract changes and issue resolution (including gold, silver and bronze contracts)
- Proven capability in developing and documenting commercial strategies within complex programme environments.
- Strong understanding of public sector commercial frameworks and regulations, including procurement rules, governance requirements and assurance processes.
- Experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), with the ability to manage and monitor gold, silver and bronze supplier tiers, ensuring performance, value delivery and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently with cross programme stakeholders, providing commercial insight, guidance and challenge where required.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including supporting billing processes, validating commercial inputs and ensuring accurate financial tracking across contracts.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external partners, identifying commercial risks early and agreeing effective mitigations and contract management plans.
