AMS PSR

On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Test Engineer Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based Hybrid Swindon.

As a Test Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

Essential:

• Collaborate with QA, product, and other teams to understand business requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and automation issues quickly and effectively.
• Mentor and advise other team members in testing practices.
• Knowledge transfer and handovers as needed of the information related to the deliverables.
• Proficiency in functional, integration and automation testing.
• Experience in API testing (Manual and automation) using Postman or similar.
• Experience in building automation framework using WebDriver, Typescript and BDD methodology or similar.
• Proficiency in using Git, Bitbucket and Jira or similar.
• Experience working with digital product teams in a government environment is desirable.
• Experience with performance testing tool such as JMeter or similar.
• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe-core and Wave or similar.
• Experience working with digital product teams following GDS in a government environment is desirable."
