Description & Requirements

On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Talent Partner - (Inside IR35) for a 3 - month contract working on a remote basis and with an expectation of 1 day per month attendance in the London office

As a Talent Partner - (Inside IR35), your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage and deliver a robust and effective end-to-end resourcing service for all senior appointments, so that UKRI has the capability and capacity to deliver its business plans and achieve its strategic objectives
  • Work closely with the Head of Senior and Public Appointments to adapt and deliver an effective and results driven outreach process for all senior appointments
  • Give focus to the candidate experience and apply appropriate processes
  • Deliver a service that operates in line with agreed policies and processes across UKRI
  • Work closely with the Head of Senior and Public Appointments to support the creation of talent pools from which high calibre, timely appointments can be made
  • Build and manage relationships with senior leaders, reporting on metrics and successes when required
  • Extensive use of LinkedIn to proactively engage with candidates, promoting awareness of UKRI and our opportunities
  • Be an advocate for best practice governance through the entire recruitment process, ensuring adherence to the recruitment principles


Essential:

  • Proven delivery of successful senior appointment campaigns across public sector bodies
  • Extensive management of complex, detailed end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing a positive candidate experience
  • Extensive experience of stakeholder engagement and influencing at a senior level
  • Experience of working with LinkedIn and other resourcing tools

  • Public Sector experience
