Description & Requirements

On behalf of FCDO, we are looking for a Delivery Manager Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based Hybrid London

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active SV clearance. 


As a Delivery Manager, your main responsibilities will be:


Essential:

  • Team Leadership & Delivery: Build and maintain motivated, collaborative teams; focus on priorities for successful product and service delivery; remove obstacles and maintain delivery momentum.
  • Continuous Improvement & Coaching: Encourage iterative improvement, mentor team members, and apply Agile and Lean practices effectively.
  • Agile & Lean Expertise: Select and adapt delivery methods, promote experimentation, measure outcomes, and improve ways of working.
  • Stakeholder & Communication Management: Bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage expectations, and facilitate challenging discussions.
  • Commercial & Financial Oversight: Manage supplier relationships, monitor budgets, balance cost vs. value, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Planning & Lifecycle Management: Use data-driven planning, manage dependencies, ensure products meet standards through lifecycle phases, and adapt processes for efficiency.
