On behalf of the CPS, we are looking for an HR Manager - People Litigation - (Inside IR35) for a 4-month contract working on a hybrid basis and with an expectation of at least 2 days attendance per week on average in the London office
The CPS prosecutes criminal cases that have been investigated by the police and other investigative organisations in England and Wales. The CPS is independent, and they make their decisions independently of the police and government.
Their duty is to make sure that the right person is prosecuted for the right offence, and to bring offenders to justice wherever possible.

As a HR Manager - People Litigation - (Inside IR35), your main responsibilities will be:
- Developing the litigation lessons learnt offer, strategy and associated delivery plans
- Drafting briefings, strategy papers and workshop content; supporting the delivery of workshops to stakeholders across the business at all levels
- Developing the witness care offer – including the development and implementation of a policy on witness expenses.
- Data analysis, reporting, and evaluation
Experience and Skills to bring to the role are:
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, including experience writing briefing papers and strategy documents for senior audiences.
- Results focus
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Data handling, analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of HR Casework and basic principles of employment law.
Essential:
- Experience of working on organisation-wide HR strategy
- Experience of drafting documents – briefings, policy, strategy
- Knowledge of employment law and experience in HR casework
- Exceptional communication skills
Desirable:
- CIPD
- Public Sector experience
