We are currently creating a pipeline for future anticipated hiring of Project Engineers on behalf of Network Rail, contracts can range for a 3–12-month based at various locations over the UK

As a Project Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:    

  • Implementing Network Rail systems and procedures to deliver a cost effective, high quality and safe approach to design, construction, commissioning and other technical activities on relevant projects. 
  • Managing all engineering activities ensuring they are affordable, efficient and meet programme requirements. 
  • Undertake reviews of design and construction activities. Arrange audits of contractors monitoring safety, environment, and quality of design 


Essential:   

  • Rail Sector background
  • Previous experience of Projects related to one or more of the following: Building & Civil, OLE, Signaling, Telecoms, Track Civil or Electrical or Mechanical. 
  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer
