Description & Requirements

On behalf of The Home Office we are looking for a Mentor to Criminal Investigators (Inside IR35) for a 12 month contract based on site in Cardiff.

As a Mentor to Criminal Investigators your main responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting with ongoing investigations.
  • Preparation of court cases & packs.
  • Training and mentoring new in recruits, specifically in the Policing Education Qualification Framework (PEQF)

 

You’ll have relevant experience in:

  • Building evidential cases, following relevant lines of enquiry, liaising with intelligence officers and analysts
  • Disclosure.
  • Mentoring new recruits.

 

You’ll have the following Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Professionalising Investigation Programme Level 2 (PIP2) or achieved this via grandfather rights.
  • Active or recently lapsed SC clearance.

 

Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
