Description & Requirements

At Public Sector Resourcing we are looking to build our talent pools for upcoming opportunities across the UK, both inside and outside IR35.

For these roles, your main responsibilities will be to: 

 

  • Work with stakeholders to stress-test contract mitigation plans through scenario modelling and workshops to ensure resilience in business-as-usual operations.
  • Simulate mid-level impact scenarios with stakeholders to test programs and categories to enhance adaptability to various disruptions.
  • Collaborate with industry to test large-scale scenarios and solutions, aligning efforts across sectors and establishing a quarterly rhythm of wargaming workshops.
  • Review findings from testing to drive continuous improvement and help implement effective practical solutions.
  • Ensure supply chain requirements are properly considered in any new scenario planning tooling or systems capability.
  • Work with planners and wider industry to ensure supply chain considerations are included in future technology roadmaps.

 

 

Essential: 

 

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the capability and experience to overcome challenges in order to deliver high-quality business outcomes and drive change.
  • Ability to look for continuous improvements and efficiencies. As we build this capability, candidates will seek to change and improve to provide a quality service for the department.
  • High level of aptitude for analysing, handling, and presenting data and intelligence for the purposes of producing evidence for policy advice, with an aptitude to join the dots to see the bigger picture.
  • Collaborative team-working skills and the ability to build networks across teams and divisions internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex analysis to a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong secretariat skills with a proven track record of briefing senior officials and ministers.
