On behalf of EANI, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based Hybrid in Belfast with occasional travel for meetings
EA was established on 1 April 2015 under the Education Act (Northern Ireland) 2014. EA is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department of Education (DE) and the Department for the Economy (DfE), responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective primary and secondary education and educational services are available to meet the needs of children and young people, and for ensuring the provision of efficient and effective youth services.
As a Technical Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Lead and co-ordinate the activities of the project ensuring the achievement of the projects’ overall objectives within specified time and budget constraints.
- Manage a Project team and be responsible for the successful implementation of multiple ICT projects to support the core business areas of the Education Authority
- Manage all RAID items relating to assigned projects and provide regular updates to ICT Management
- Liaise with EA Services to define project technical and business requirements
- Liaise with DE in respect of the Business Case funding for projects over the delegated limit
- Identify and manage risks that may arise within their area of responsibility and develop controls to mitigate them, ensure any risks or issues are escalated appropriately before they develop into an issue
Essential:
- Extensive experience as Technical Project management and change
- Experience in planning and risk
- Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Desirable:
- Prince 2
