Description & Requirements



On behalf of The Home Office, we are looking for a Procurement Manager (Inside IR35) for a 12 month hybrid contract, based in the North East, London, Birmingham, Manchester or Durham.

As a Procurement Manager, your main responsibilities will be:


  • The successful candidate must provide support across all activities within the procurement lifecycle. 
  • Responsibilities include assisting in developing procurement plans, conducting market analysis, engaging with the market, preparing procurement documentation, negotiating with suppliers, and participating in governance activities
  • This role requires working collaboratively with the commercial team to ensure successful delivery of procurement objectives



Essential:


  • IT procurement experience 
  • Contract drafting
  • Experience in running procurement under PCR 2015
  • Support Negotiation sessions
  • CIPS Level 4, 5 or 6
  • SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks.  Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance. 


Desirable:


  • Proficiency in using Jaggaer e-procurement tool, or the ability to learn it quickly.
