Description & Requirements

On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Data Business Analyst for an 8 month contract. This is a hybrid working role (travel once per quarter onsite - Swindon)

As a Data Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be to:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business users to gather and document business requirements for data warehouses and analytical and predictive models using machine learning and artificial intelligence. 
  •  Advise users and stakeholders on best practice for designing reporting and analytical solutions. 
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with the underlying data architecture and design principles. 
  • Conduct data analysis and profiling to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues in existing data sources. 
  • Interact with the data science, machine learning and data engineering teams to design solutions, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and scalability. 
  • Guide user acceptance testing and provide support during the implementation and deployment of solutions


You'll have:


  • Experience translating user requirements structured documentation that can be used by solution architects and machine learning engineers.
  • Knowledge of current artificial intelligence applications and capabilities.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Experience in working on academic grants 
  • Experience working on machine AI projects


Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
