AMS PSR

On behalf of The Department for Transport, we are looking for a Estates Project Manager x2 (Inside IR35) for a contract running to the end of September 2025 which is based remotely but does Include up to 3 days a week onsite in either Bristol, Swansea, Nottingham, Birmingham or Leeds office, please note that one of the three days there is travelling to another office which will be expensed 

As an Estates Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Managing estates projects including refurbishments, fitting out new premises, and major maintenance works.
• Working with a single supplier (Mighty).
• Following the RIBA Plan of Work: feasibility, design and tender, construction.
• Fair amount of travel required, typically one day a week depending on project stage.
• Varied and interesting work across different sites and stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Estates project management experience which can be either construction or property based
• Managing a large estate (We have 400 sites, supporting around 3000 people)
• Stakeholder engagement at all levels Including people in different locations
• Extensive experience in managing projects using the RIBA Plan of Work.
• Broad experience overseeing large multiple projects.
• Strong self starter with a flexible pro active approach

Desirable Skills

• Experience in construction, civils, maintenance, or property management is beneficial
• CAD drawing skills is beneficial
