On behalf of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), we are looking for an Assistant Recruitment Business Partner (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based remotely with 1 day per month in Bootle for meetings.

As an Assistant Recruitment Business Partner your main responsibilities will be:
- Effectively manage a team of campaign managers and advisors to deliver a great recruitment and resourcing service.
- Understanding business requirements and project manage the teams delivery of recruitment campaigns, employment checks and onboarding.
- Ensure the team deliver innovative marketing strategies for each role/job discipline, managing HSE channels to attract and retain a diverse and relevant candidate pool
- Evaluate outcomes and report on recruitment progress for internal and external stakeholders, e.g. programme board.
- Maintain, monitor and report on delivery plans and budget spend.
- Understand business requirements and project manage the delivery of recruitment campaigns, employment checks and onboarding.
- Ensure Civil Service Recruitment principles, HSE vacancy policy, Diversity and employment law are met in all recruitment and selection activities.
- Plan activities in line with the business resourcing requirements, working with other resourcing managers, senior managers to deliver services through external providers.
- Effectively contract manage and build successful relationships with HSE’s external providers for recruitment and selection activities.
- Provide professional guidance and advice to vacancy managers on selection methods and Civil Service Recruitment Policy, critically challenging assumptions to decide on the most suitable, cost-effective solutions, including making best use of the Civil Service Success Profiles.
- Set appropriate and innovative marketing strategies for each role/job discipline, managing HSE channels to attract and retain a diverse and relevant candidate pool.
Essential:
- Experience in management and acting as a positive role model, demonstrating positive behaviour
- Experience and knowledge of working in recruitment and selection with exposure to some of the following areas: attraction, application, sifting and selection tools, evaluation of campaign effectiveness.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at various stages through to completion
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work well with colleagues and customers at all levels and create a supportive and inclusive environment;
- Analytical skills to evaluate information, and produce clear/concise information and reports;
- Flexibility and initiative to work in a changing environment

Any rates of payment quoted will reflect the gross rate per day for the assignment and will be subject to appropriate taxes and statutory costs. As such the payment to the intermediary and your income resulting from this contract will be different.
