AMS PSR

On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for Facilities Managers - Inside IR35 x3 for a 6 Month contract based in Wormwood Scrubs, Eastwood Park & Leyhill, Werrington & Birmingham.

Our job is to manage one of the most diverse and complex estates in Government – hosted by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). The MoJ Property Directorate brings together a property portfolio including Prisons, Probation, and MoJ HQ and Arm’s Length Bodies. We also provide property services on behalf of the Home Office.

Area Property Operations Managers work on a varied portfolio across the Ministry of Justice providing property services to HM Probation Service which includes a range of Reporting Centres & Residential properties.

As a Facilities Manager your main responsibilities will be to:

• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and professional requirements.
• Demonstrate FM skills in meeting customer needs and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, performance, and assurance program management.
• Undertake delegated responsibilities for Health & Safety, technical, financial, and commercial activities.
• Act as the focal point for MoJ-wide queries.
• Liaise with MoJ Property, managing issues to resolution and escalating where necessary to Regional Property Operations Managers (RPOMs).
• Engage with MoJ, industry partners, and customers.

You'll have:

• Demonstrable experience in Property & FM (hard & soft) disciplines.
• Ability to demonstrate compliance with statutory, regulatory & professional requirements.
• Commercial & Financial discipline knowledge.
• Asset management, maintenance & contract / supplier management skills.
• IOSH / NEBOSH qualification.
• A full, clean driving licence.
