Description & Requirements



On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Method Statement Writer (Track) for a 6 Month hybrid contract based in Gravesend.

As a Method Statement Writer (Track), your main responsibilities will be:


  • To utilize knowledge gained from Track Engineering background to prepare detailed method statement reports for track construction, maintenance, and renewal projects.
  • Outline step-by-step procedures, safety measures, and quality standards to be followed.
  • Clearly outline safety measures in method statements.
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.


Essential: 


  • Hands-on experience with track construction and maintenance projects.
  • This includes supervising work on-site and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Experience in planning and managing track projects, including coordinating with various stakeholders and managing timelines and resources.
  • Experience in preparing detailed method statements, including outlining procedures, safety measures, and quality standards.



Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
