On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Test Manager (Inside IR35) for a 5 month contract based Hybrid in Swindon.

As a Test Manager, your main responsibilities will be:


Responsibilities:

  • You will be Leading the testing workstream
  • Defining and implementing the test strategy, processes and standards.
  • Planning and managing test resources across all areas of testing.
  • Planning and executing all types of testing - both functional and non-functional.
  • Collaborating and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that testing inputs are coherent and achievable.
  • Delivering quality, timely and transparent governance and reporting of status on the overall test effort, highlighting risks and issues.
  • Defining testing automation approaches and supporting their implementation.


Essential:

  • Experience of test management and execution in the implementation of environments
  • Experience of designing test strategies to deliver test cycles (SIT, UAT, Non Functional Testing) for multiple releases/projects.
  • Experience in hands on test execution
  • Experience of executing testing with multiple vendors and third party integrations.
  • Experience of creating and delivering high quality test approaches, plans, outcome reports
  • Ability to manage the testing lifecycle in line with the projects environments approach.
  • Ability to identify and implement opportunities for simplification / automated tests to improve efficiency.
