On behalf of DSIT, we are looking for a Fraud Risk Assessment Lead (Inside IR35) for a 3 Month contract based in either London, Birmingham, Cardiff or Salford.


The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) brings together the relevant parts of the former Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the former Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

As a Fraud Risk Assessment Lead, your main responsibilities will be:


  • To independently lead a project to assess the fraud risk that comes with an organisational transformation in central government.
  • To carry out an in-depth fraud risk assessment of a number of organisations moving into the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. This will include the individual risk posed by the organisations themselves as well as the risks associated with transition.
  • To produce a detailed fraud risk assessment that will be presented back to a number of senior level forums with clear recommendations.



Essential:


  • A qualification in Risk Management or Counter Fraud.
  • Substantial experience in both fields and a knowledge of central government.
  • The ability to work with a range of stakeholders of varying seniority to establish key risks, controls, mitigations.
  • The ability to present the above information in an accessible format and talk through it in detail.


Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
