On behalf of FCDO, we are looking for a Business Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 5 month contract based Hybrid in London.

As a Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:


Essential:

  • This position requires Active DV Clearance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Analyse and map business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop clear and concise requirements documentation, including use cases, user stories, process flows, and business rules.
  • Work with technical teams to design cybersecurity solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions and provide recommendations to ensure they meet security, scalability, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, cybersecurity teams, and IT to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather input and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying and assessing cybersecurity risks, ensuring that business processes and solutions align with regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, NIST).
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure risk mitigation strategies are effectively implemented.
  • Support project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets for cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, providing actionable recommendations to address challenges.
