On behalf of UKSBS we are looking for a Internal Recruiter - (Inside IR35) for a 4-month contract based working on a hybrid basis and with an expectation of 1 day’s attendance in the Swindon, Newport or Stockton on Tees offices

As a Internal Recruiter - (Inside IR35), your main responsibilities will be:

  • Contributes to the development of the recruitment strategy and owns tactical initiatives that support the strategy
  • Ensures that every interaction they have positions UKSBS as an employer of choice
  • Delivers an effective, proactive, and advisory recruitment service ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Partners with hiring managers to take detailed vacancy briefs and set selection criteria
  • writes effective and inclusive recruitment advertising, and posts adverts on relevant channels and platforms
  • Coaches hiring managers to produce meaningful job descriptions aligned to UKSBS’ approach
  • Maintains excellent relationships with partner agencies
  • Identifies tough job openings and finds the best way to fill them
  • Pro-actively source candidates using database searches and manages the internal talent pool
  • Maintains relevant and required approvals and paperwork for the recruitment process
  • Build relationships with candidates through social media and at events
  • Screens to shortlist qualified candidates through CVs and screening-calls where appropriate,
  • Participates in, and contributes to, annual campaigns, career fairs, and events
  • Maintains recruitment content and collateral to a common standard and brand
  • Aspires to be a subject matter expert for our enterprise resource planning software (Oracle Fusion) and SharePoint hubs to drive efficiency and maximise efficiency in terms of administration
  • Attend regular meetings with business areas to better understand their recruitment
  • needs and contributes to workforce planning initiatives and activity
  • Delivers weekly performance reports, suggests and develops reports and dashboards as required, Explores Power BI functionality to drive better data visualization
  • Works with the Recruitment Manager to improve service delivery, escalates risk, suggests ways to enhance delivery and improve efficiency, and provides assistance and support to the Recruitment Manager where needed
  • Supports on recruitment projects and contributes to the wider people strategy


Other duties as required by UKSBS

Flexibility will be required to respond to the changing needs of the organisation and the service. You may also be asked to support with ad hoc projects and pieces of work relevant to your role in line with business requirements.


Essential

  • Demonstrable experience of in-house recruitment
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end recruitment processes and successfully filling vacancies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating engaging and effective recruitment advertising and candidate attraction content
  • Extremely organised and proactive with a focus on delivering excellence and partnering our business
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience managing demanding stakeholders and balancing competing priorities in a customer-focused environment


Desirable

  • Experience operating within the recruitment modules in Oracle Fusion
  • Experience of working within a Shared Services environment and/or the public sector



Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
