On behalf of NRS, we are looking for a Site Engineer / Construction Supervisor for a 24 month contract based in Trawsfynydd.
As a Site Engineer / Construction Supervisor, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Take action to champion a strong safety culture, maintain high standards, and drive continuous improvement through best practice and learning.
- Review and accept method statements, safe systems of work, and all relevant documentation with diligence and ownership.
- Demonstrate flexibility and support others while adapting confidently to changing demands, promoting positive safety, environmental values, and strong planning and coordination.
Essential:
- Essential construction safety qualifications such as CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or a NEBOSH Construction Certificate, alongside strong Construction Design Management experience.
- Proven essential experience managing or supervising construction activities such as (working at height operations, temporary works, heavy lifting operations etc.) and supported by an HNC/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent technical background.
- A thorough understanding of local procedures, rules, and company instructions, ensuring safe, compliant, and effective project delivery.
Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
