On behalf of the Infected Blood Compensation Authority, we are looking for a Target Operating Model Design Lead Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based Hybrid 3 days in London with occasional travel to Newcastle
As a Target Operating Model Design Lead, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Lead on the next iteration of the Target Operating Model (TOM) for the Infected Blood Compensation Authority (IBCA).
- Lead on designing the TOM at pace for a fast-developing organisation delivering compensation to vulnerable people.
- Develop the blueprint that will describe how IBCA moves from its current state towards our strategic goal of ensuring that payment is made in recognition of the wrongs experienced by those who have been infected by HIV, Hepatitis B or C, as well as those who love and care for them.
- Work across IBCA’s Directorates, and coordinating closely with colleagues developing the next phase of the organisation’s business case
Essential:
- Strong experience in organisational design, and in the development of Target Operating Models;
- Strong experience in organisational and operational process design and description;
- Very strong communication and engagement skills to bring people with you during the design process;
- Excellent facilitation skills (including workshops, Board sessions, etc);
- Sensitivity to the issues raised by the Infected Blood scandal, and to serving vulnerable people.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of and experience in the operation of Non-Departmental Public Bodies;
- Experience in a new organisation, start-up or ‘test and learn’ environment
