Description & Requirements
On behalf of GLD, we are looking for a Paralegal (Inside IR35) for a 12 months contract based Hybrid - London, Manchester, Leeds
or Bristol.
As a Paralegal, your main responsibilities will be:
- Drafting straightforward letters and documents
- Assisting in the booking of Counsel and preparation of instructions to Counsel
- Liaising with Counsel, clients and other stakeholder in a professional manner
- Work in relation to large scale disclosure exercises
- Pursuing costs orders and drafting schedules of costs and submissions
- Maintaining electronic records in the Case Management System
- Complying with the relevant policies and procedures when handling case documents
- Some roles may include line management responsibility for one or more Administrative Officers
- Administrative tasks including scanning, filing, arranging meetings, making travel arrangements, taking minutes at meetings
- Assisting the Team Leader and team with client matters, as appropriate.
Essential:
- You must be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Good written skills (including close attention to detail)
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Previous experience of public inquiries/reviews and/or litigation.
