On behalf of The Department for Transport, we are looking for a Resourcing Marketing Manager Inside IR35 for a contract until 31t March 2025 based Hybrid working (2/3 days per week in Birmingham, Leeds or Swansea and remaining WFH)

The main duties and responsibilities of the Resourcing Marketing Manager would be to:
- Provide high quality content to support the goals and Recruitment strategies of the organisation to be released on multiple channels, such as social media and via email campaigns.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the department, understanding and responding to policy, programme and operational priorities with expert advice and support.
- Develop direct communication strategies in response to priorities, establishing innovative activities based on quality insight across a range of channels.
- Develop clear messaging and motivational communications that increase wider understanding and drive towards organisational goals and in support of strategies.
- Ensure communication activity is evaluated to ensure best practice and continuous improvement, maintaining adherence to organisational standards and values at all times whilst supporting the wider strategy.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with business units to understand their recruitment and strategic requirements and ensure that all marketing and branding activity is aligned with this
- Use data and expert knowledge to design effective attraction strategies. This includes market data, diversity and inclusion data, and success rates of previous campaigns
- Identifying new and innovative opportunities to promote our brand and attract the best talent from a range of diverse backgrounds, such as on external recruitment sites or at jobs fair
- Ensure that all marketing and branding activity is effective, fit for purpose, and provides value for money, and escalating appropriately when it is not. You will do this by reviewing feedback and performance data, as well as conducting external research on alternative options and the latest market trends
- Provide recommendations on the most appropriate marketing and branding activities that should be used to the Resourcing Marketing Manager
- Maintaining and updating the DfT Careers page and all other marketing platforms, which includes creating exciting and eye-catching content
Essential:
- Previous experience in Resource/Recruitment marketing
- Strong experience in designing recruitment marketing strategies
- Experience working with branding / webpages
- The ability to use data and expert knowledge to design effective attraction strategies
- Excellent writing, editorial and proofreading skills, with the ability to diligently follow a style guide
- Experience of using content management systems to publish web content
- Experience of social media platforms (LinkedIn)
- Able to use a multitude of research and data to inform decisions and report on their success
- Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders on a regular basis to improve and maintain content
