AMS PSR

On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Programme Lead (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract which has a hybrid role so does require up to 3 days a week in the Bristol office also occasional visits to the London site

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.

As a Programme Lead, your main responsibilities will be:

• Project management of the activities to define and improve MOD’s approach to SRM
• Coordination of the SRM Delivery Group
• Reporting progress to the SRM Steering Group
• Ensuring criteria and weightings for pan-MOD supplier segmentation will support delivery of SDR/DIS priorities
• Supporting the rollout of SRM system (Brooklyn), engaging with SRM System Implementation Lead
• Supporting the measurement and reporting of SRM benefits

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience and a track record in SRM frameworks
• Ability to guide teams to enhance supplier performance management
• Awareness of contract negotiation and supplier governance - not experience
• Excellent communication and change management skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement across diverse teams
• Strong self starter with a proactive approach

Desirable Skills

• Project and change management expertise.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration across MOD and Cabinet Office.
• Understanding of SRM principles, governance, and supplier segmentation.
• Analytical skills for benefits measurement and reporting.
